Our Testimony
Founded Upon Faith
What's up everybody! My name is Anthony Lerew and I am the founder and CEO of All Washed Up. My wife, Tara, and I started this business back in December of 2021 when we were lost and weren't sure how to provide for our family and spread the word of God. Our family had been living overseas in South Korea while I was coaching, however once Covid struck in 2020, we moved back to Alabama, where we previously lived for a few years. We prayed about what to do and sooner than later, God spoke to us. The idea came to us while talking to one of our close friends about not knowing where to go, and they suggested starting a mobile detailing company. As soon as I heard the idea, I knew it was what God had called me to do and shortly after we founded our company.

Growing up in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, I have always had an obsession with vehicles and I started learning early on how to take care of other peoples' vehicles. In high school, I was committed to play football and baseball at Penn State University. However, plans changed when I was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 11th round of the 2001 MLB Draft. Once I reached pro ball, I fell into a lifestyle of partying which drifted me as far from the Lord as one could imagine. During my playing days, I pitched for the Atlanta Braves, Kansas City Royals, as well as in Japan, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, and South Korea. During these days, I lived solely for myself up until 2015.

2015 was the year everything changed when I suffered a terrible motorcycle accident which broke my left leg. In order to treat the injury, the doctors cut out part of my bone on my right leg and moved it to my left. They gave me the title of Patient 0, meaning I was the first person to have ever been treated like this. It took 2 years to recover from this accident and 14 different surgeries. During this time of recovery is where I began questioning God and what my purpose is in life. Soon after, I gave my life up to Christ and have been living for Him ever since. We then moved down to Alabama with an old friend I played baseball with who showed me early on what it looks like to be a good Christian man. Tara, our children, Kylie and Lashton, and I have been here in Auburn/Opelika ever since we moved back from South Korea and love getting to know and serving the community.

All Washed Up means more than to just wash our customers' vehicles. It also represents our Christian founding as we are All Washed Up in the Blood of Christ. As members of Church of the Highlands and consistent servers at First Baptist Church of Opelika, our main goal in this business is to build relationships and encourage others in their walk with Christ. We have chosen Romans 8:28 as the bible verse to represent our business because it gives hope to those who feel lost and it shows that even in my pain and suffering, God was always by my side leading me toward the Truth. It states, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." We love nothing more than to talk to our clients about what the Lord has done in their life and to stand by them in their walk with the Lord, which is why you will always see on our social media posts...
GOD BLESS FROM THE LEREW CREW!
